Aston Martin Car Insurance Rates by Model & Year Make

When insuring your Aston Martin, the model you choose significantly impacts the insurance rates. Our detailed analysis below provides a comprehensive view of the insurance costs for various Aston Martin models from different years.

A Brief History of Aston Martin

The rich history of this British sports car began almost a century ago with co-founders Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford in 1913. Their first creation, dubbed the Coal Scuttle, was built and registered in 1915. Although they were successful, production ceased due to the First Word World, as the men enlisted.

Following the war, the company resumed production, making 55 cars from 1920 to 1924 for racing and commercial purposes. Today, the luxury automaker, headquartered in Gaydon, Warwickshire, dazzles with gorgeous, high-end vehicles that we can best describe as iconic.

Aston Martin Insurance FAQs

What are Aston Martin’s most popular vehicles?

The DB11, Vanquish S, DBX, and Rapide are all popular models, but their best-seller is unsurprisingly their most affordable option—the Vantage. With a starting MSRP of $149,000, the Vantage provides an easier entry fee into the world of Ashtonites, sitting far below its more costly counterparts, such as the $330,000 Rapide or $305,000 DBS Superleggera.

Are Aston Martin vehicles safe?

Aston Martins have numerous safety features, such as anti-lock brakes and stability. Aston Martin models have a long list of safety features, including anti-lock brakes, stability control, front and side airbags, and seatbelt pre-tensioners, among others. Given this, their safety ratings are relatively high, and with high-end security systems, their theft rate is also low.

What is the cheapest Aston Martin model to insure in Canada?

The 2023 Aston Martin Vantage is the most affordable model to insure in Canada, with an average annual insurance premium of $1,167.
