Aren launched his career in financial services as a marketing specialist in 2012. He then honed his expertise at Omnicom Media Groups, a Fortune 500 marketing holding company, from 2015, where he established and led their SEO team. During this time, he also delved into digital advertising mediums including paid search and social, and was among Canada’s first Facebook Blueprint-certified professionals for buying and planning.

Eventually promoted to Head of Performance and Optimization, Aren liaised closely with major tech firms like Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter, and TikTok on scaling, training, and ad product development. During his tenure as a marketing executive, he has helped some of the largest financial services brands in Canada with their SEO, paid search, social, content and user experience initiatives.
